Designing a Dreamy Backdrop: MOD for MOJEH Magazine x Pavit Gujral

Since our inception, MOD Design Events has been devoted to crafting luxury wedding experiences that resonate far beyond a single night. Known for our signature blend of contemporary elegance, large-scale floral installations, and thoughtfully curated furniture pieces, each MOD wedding is a study in bespoke artistry. From royal weddings to private estate soirées, we’ve always pushed the boundaries of what event design can be. But today marks an exciting new chapter. For the first time, MOD has been invited to bring our design language into the pages of a luxury fashion publication — none other than MOJEH Magazine, a homegrown editorial platform that celebrates beauty, craftsmanship, and Middle Eastern creativity. Our mission? To design a striking backdrop for the high jewellery editorial spotlighting jewellery designer Pavit Gujral. A moment where luxury wedding design met high fashion.

Where Wedding Design Meets Editorial Styling

It began as a quiet conversation. MOJEH reached out to explore how MOD might help frame a story around Gujral’s bold, sculptural jewellery pieces. The vision was clear: a setting that didn’t overpower, but elevated; a floral world that would serve as both metaphor and mood. From there, we began to imagine a scene not unlike the ones we build for our weddings: immersive, emotional, and unforgettable. At MOD, wedding design isn’t simply about styling — it’s about storytelling. Whether we’re designing for a private henna evening or a palace wedding reception, our creative process always begins with the story we want to tell. For this shoot, we wanted something wild yet delicate. Structured yet soft. A visual duality — much like Gujral’s jewellery itself. We called the concept: Where Wildflowers Bloom. | Explore Pavit Gujral

Sustainability in Luxury Wedding Design

A key part of our process — both in editorial work and in wedding production — is sustainable design. As wedding designers in Dubai, we constantly ask ourselves: how can beauty be created without excess? How can we reuse, repurpose, and still inspire awe? Fresh off the completion of our Grace Land wedding project — a MOD-designed celebration defined by towering floral structures — we saw a rare opportunity. Why not incorporate our Grace Stems, already constructed at 4–5 meters high, and transform them into something new? These sculptural pieces had captivated guests at a wedding. Now, they would serve a new purpose: as the foundation for an editorial floral world. | Explore The Behind The Scenes

A Set Designed Like a Wedding

Once the Grace Stems were reassembled on set, our floral team began layering in life. We laid down soft moss to build texture across the base, then carefully tucked in fresh exotic blooms. By mixing real flowers with our signature faux stems — a MOD signature in recent wedding designs — we achieved something poetic: a space that felt like a fairy garden grounded in reality. We played with foliage to create depth and a sense of wild movement. The resulting backdrop offered a dreamlike contrast to the bold jewellery and fashion styling — and it reminded us, once again, that wedding design and editorial styling often speak the same language: composition, mood, scale, restraint. | Explore The Full Ediorial on MOJEH

Luxury Wedding Elements, Reimagined

One of the key takeaways from this project — and a philosophy we bring into every wedding — is that true luxury lies in versatility. At MOD, we don’t just design for the day-of. We build pieces that can live many lives. Whether it’s a hand-crafted table, a sculptural faux stem, or a bespoke arch, our designs are made with longevity in mind. This way of working allows us to reduce waste, maximise value, and deliver breathtaking results in even the most ambitious settings. As luxury wedding designers in Dubai, we’re deeply aware of the responsibility that comes with scale — not just in spectacle, but in sustainability | Explore The Graceland Wedding

An Invitation to See the Full Picture

If you pick up this month’s issue of MOJEH Magazine, you’ll catch fleeting glimpses of our backdrop — peeking through the edges of each frame, soft and understated, allowing the jewellery to take the spotlight. But here, dear MOD reader, we wanted to share something more. A fuller look at what we created. Because, just like with weddings, the beauty often lies in the details that don’t always make it to the final photo. This collaboration wasn’t just about a photoshoot. It was a moment of alignment between MOD’s world of luxury wedding design and the high-fashion narrative of MOJEH. A chance to show how wedding styling — when done with intention — can live well beyond the ballroom. And so, from the grand halls of royal palaces to the quiet pages of a fashion magazine, MOD continues to explore where design can take us. Whether it’s for a bride, a brand, or a story waiting to be told — we’re here to make it bloom. | Explore MOD on INSTAGRAM
