THE QODE: BRANDS WE LOVE

Having recently been invited to The Qode’s Press Day FW25, we at the MOD BLOG were delighted to discover a selection of brands that are sure to be a hit with guests at your next event.

Firstly, let’s talk about The Qode. Representing names like Givenchy, Berluti, Rimowa, and Swarovski (to name just a few), this Dubai-based premium luxury communications agency—helmed by Ayman Fakoussa and Dipesh Depala—is part of a global network spanning fifteen major cities worldwide. Based in Dubai Design District, the agency moves seamlessly with the region’s elite, showcasing and amplifying brand voices across the Middle East. Their Press Day is a perfect example: a by-invitation-only event where guests can discover each brand’s latest collections and innovations.

So, what’s new?

Well, firstly, we’ve developed a newfound obsession with chocolate—and while we’d like to blame our sweet tooth, this time the credit goes to Knoops. This Dubai-based brand specializing in chocolate drinks is one of the most unique concepts we’ve come across in this space. Considering how difficult it is to innovate in this segment, we’re certain Knoops is destined to become a cult classic. Imagine customized blends—vanilla and orange zest layered into dark chocolate decadence, hints of mocha, and the freedom to design your drink exactly how you like it. Which got us thinking: wouldn’t this make the perfect wedding feature? Swap the traditional coffee station for a chocolate station—or better yet, have both. Exceptional flavors, guaranteed.

As we wandered through the whimsical showcase of brands, another standout was @Ishvku of @sharkattck. Now, we know the name may not be one you’d expect to see here, but this artisanal Dubai-based label is exactly the kind of talent we celebrate—the art of handwork. From hand-painted details to sleek embroidery and beadwork with a street-style twist, Sharkattck has already collaborated with Adidas and Kenzo, and its edgy take on craftsmanship is sure to add a couture edge to any event.

Elsewhere, we admired Zimmerman’s classically romantic styles for the season, full of spring-hued prints, alongside Hair Drama—a brand that has partnered with acclaimed productions such as Emily in Paris. A closer look revealed a dazzling selection of Swarovski gemstones, perfect for stacking with Cartier rings or layering beside a Bvlgari necklace. Think tutti-frutti-inspired designs brought to life by Giovanna Engelbert, the creative director who’s rekindled our love for bold, chunky jewels all over again.
